The landslide brought complete devastation to my family.  Due to stress and mental depression, we divorced -- lost job, income, home and security.

I was suicidal and now I'm in bankruptcy.

[Editor's Note:  When I first read this hand written letter, I was deeply saddened at the sight of her signature. Somehow it is not so tragic when it happens to a man.  We are supposed to face the fates, to enter the battle, to suffer the wounds.  Not the women.
