Dear Mr. Steiner:

I live in a landslide prone area in San Clemente, on a slope over looking Shorecliffs golf course. There have been landslides here in the past -- on my street -- Via Ballena.

I am a renter and no one in property managment listens to me when I tell them that my yard/patio is tilted. New cracks appear daily in the house. There are some cracks so big that I can see the outside through them.

I can't sleep at night because I hear popping sounds.

Oh yeah... the owner did come out and put duct tape and plastic over the 4-6 inch seperation between the house and the patio, but that was it.

I don't know what the point of this letter is -- it just feels good to tell someone what's going on here -- no one else is listening to me.

Anyway, I got some great info at your site, and I hope for the best for all the victims in Anaheim.
